AI cleaning inspections

Hygiene you can prove, not just tick off

Staff photograph each area after cleaning. AI scores it from 0 to 100 in seconds, reports only the dirt it can actually see, and your supervisor confirms. Every correction teaches the system your standard.

The problem

A signed checklist is not evidence

Paper and tick-box apps record that someone said the work was done. They record nothing about whether it actually was.

Signatures without proof

A tick takes one second and the whole day can be filled in at the end of the shift. Nothing in that record shows the surface was ever touched.

Managers find out too late

Problems surface when a guest complains or an inspector walks in. By then the evidence, and the chance to fix it quietly, are both gone.

Standards drift between branches

Every supervisor carries a different bar in their head. Without a shared reference, two branches of the same brand end up in two different places.

Restomas replaces the tick with a photo, and the opinion with a score backed by named findings.

How it works

Five steps, then it runs itself

You set up areas and schedules once. From that day on tasks are generated every morning and results land where they are needed.

1

Define areas

Kitchen, restrooms, service counter. Add up to two reference photos showing each area at its accepted clean state.

2

Set the schedule

Days, due time and how much lateness you tolerate. Times follow each branch's own local clock.

3

Staff photograph

After cleaning, staff open the task on their phone and take a few photos. Around thirty seconds per area.

4

AI inspects

The photos are compared with the reference, scored 0 to 100, and every issue is listed with what is visible and where.

5

Supervisor confirms

Verdicts are reviewed once a day. Confirmations close the loop, corrections teach the AI.

Decision logic

Three verdicts, one rule

The AI is deliberately cautious. An unfair warning costs more than a missed spot, because it destroys the trust that makes the system work.

Clean

Passed automatically

The photos show the area is clean with enough confidence. The task closes itself and appears pre-approved to the supervisor.

Not clean

Warning with evidence

Concrete visible soil was found. When confidence is high and the findings are serious, the staff member is warned immediately and the area goes back on the list.

In review

Handed to a human

When the AI cannot decide it does not accuse anyone. The record waits in the supervisor queue and no warning is sent.

The evidence rule

The AI may only report dirt it can see and name in the photo. These are never treated as dirt:

Permanent scratches Aged stains Grout colour Shadows and reflections Wet shine after wiping

One module, three points of view

Everyone sees only what they need to act on. No training session required.

Staff

Today's tasks on a phone

The day's areas listed by due time, with a button that says exactly what to do next.

  • Camera first, gallery closed, so the evidence is always fresh
  • The reference photo is shown before shooting
  • Score, findings and next step arrive within seconds
Supervisor

A daily review queue

Records are ordered by urgency, so the ones that triggered a warning come first.

  • Reference and today's photo side by side
  • Every finding links to the exact photo it came from
  • Two buttons and one note close each record
Manager

Areas and schedules

Define the venue once and the daily task list builds itself from then on.

  • Several schedules per area for different shifts
  • Reference photos raise accuracy immediately
  • Missed and late are tracked automatically
What makes it different

It learns your standard, not a generic one

Every venue has marks that will never come off and corners that always get missed. Instead of arguing with the AI about them, the supervisor writes one sentence and the system remembers it for good.

The AI gets it wrong

It reports a permanent scratch on the counter as dirt.

The supervisor corrects it

One button and one sentence explaining why.

It becomes a lesson

The note is distilled into a single instruction and attached to that area.

The next inspection is better

The lesson is fed into every future analysis of that area, so the same mistake does not come back.

AI memory
Do not flag
Do not report the permanent scratch marks on the stainless steel counter edge as dirt.
Applied in 6 inspections
Pay attention
Pay extra attention to the base of the toilet bowls; limescale builds up there and is easy to miss.
Applied in 3 inspections
Branch wide
Check the grout lines on the floor; grease film accumulates there.
Applies to every area
Reporting

A number you can act on, every month

Cleaning stops being a feeling and becomes a trend you can compare between people, areas and branches.

Monthly cleaning report 86 Branch score +1.3 vs. previous month 75% Completion 67% On time Daily average By area Guest restrooms 57 Service counter 81 Main kitchen 93

Branch score

One monthly figure with the change against the previous month, plus completion and on time ratios.

By staff member

Inspections, average score, warnings and late submissions per person, with a drill down into every record.

By area

The lowest scoring area sits at the top, so a chronically weak section is visible at a glance.

Audit trail

Every inspection keeps its photos, score, findings and who decided what. Ready for an external inspection.

Built for multiple locations

One standard across every country you operate in

The module was designed for chains from day one, not adapted later.

Each branch on its own clock

Schedules, missed checks, daily queues and monthly boundaries are all calculated in the branch's own time zone.

Ten languages

Staff see the task and the AI summary in their own language, including right to left layouts.

Branch level standards

Areas, schedules and AI lessons belong to the branch, so a kitchen in one city never inherits another city's exceptions.

Questions

Frequently asked

The things venues ask us before they switch the module on.

How long does setup take?

Around fifteen minutes for a typical venue. You add your areas, take one reference photo of each and set the days and times. Tasks start generating the same day.

What if the AI blames my team unfairly?

It only reports dirt it can see and name, and when it is unsure it hands the decision to your supervisor instead of warning anyone. If it still gets it wrong, one correction removes that mistake permanently for that area.

Do we need special devices?

No. Any phone with a browser is enough, and there is a mobile app if you prefer one. No tablets, no scanners, no sensors.

What happens if the internet drops?

The task stays on the list and can be submitted once the connection returns. Late submissions are accepted and simply marked as late.

Can we use it for an official inspection?

Yes. Every submission keeps its photos, timestamp, score, findings and the supervisor decision, so you can show what was cleaned, when, by whom and in what condition it was.

How is it priced?

The module is part of the core platform, so there is no separate licence. Only the AI photo analysis consumes credit from your shared AI balance, and the operation never stops when that runs out.
